Experience the true essence of living a good and stress-free life.

Always curious

On and off the mat

I found healing through yoga and want to share that with others. It has been a great stress-reliever in my own life, and I want to help people with busy lives find calm. Showing up daily on the mat helped me become less rigid and structured with myself off the mat.

Frequently smiling

Everyone can enjoy and experience

I want to make yoga more accessible, so everyone gets to enjoy and experience the benefits of yoga and thereby contributing to positive change in people’s lives.

Forever learning

Balance

I love yoga because it brings you in to the now while you develop a better relationship and understanding of your body, mind, and spirit. It’s all about finding balance on and off the mat.

I simply love practicing and sharing yoga

I believe that any yoga practice leaves room for a lot of modifications, so it can be adapted to the person coming to it. I make an effort to make all asanas (postures) accessible to everyone through modifications and the use of props.

I am very passionate about proper alignment and adjustment for a healthy and safe practice, so students can enjoy the full benefits of yoga.

There is something for everyone for wherever they are right now. Yoga meets you exactly where you are. I bring a positive demeanour, lots of energy and relaxation to classes.

Ashtanga Primary

Yoga Chikitsa, meaning yoga therapy

Through regular practice, you’ll start to notice your focus, willpower, and body awareness growing. Along with a deeper sense of confidence both on and off the mat. Over time, the Primary Series also works on a more subtle level, helping to clear blockages in the body’s energy channels (Nadis), so your energy can flow with greater ease and balance.

Ashtanga Secondary Series

Nadi Shodhana

The Secondary Series is designed to cleanse and strengthen the nervous system while opening the body’s subtle energy channels (Nadis). This dynamic sequence activates the sympathetic nervous system, inviting you to meet challenge and intensity with mindfulness and steady breath. Through deep backbends and hip openers, you learn to stay calm and centered even as the body works hard. As the practice settles into the finishing poses, the nervous system shifts into a parasympathetic state, allowing you to rest deeply and leave the mat feeling balanced and refreshed.

Traditional Hatha

Maintain balance

Hatha Yoga combines movement, breath, and mindful awareness to bring balance to body and mind. Classes include postures, breathing techniques (pranayama), and mudras—hand & body positions that help focus the mind and direct energy. You’ll also explore pratyahara (turning inward) and dhyana (meditation), cultivating calm, clarity, and inner strength.

Yin yoga

Slow down

Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that works deeply into the body through gentle, longer-held postures. It targets the connective tissues—ligaments, joints, fascia, and the body’s energetic meridians—rather than the muscles, offering a perfect balance to more active (Yang) styles like Vinyasa or Ashtanga.

s the breath slows and the body softens, you move into a deeply restorative state that supports the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing time for rest, healing, and renewal. Yin is the perfect practice to slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.

Guided meditation

Let go

Guided meditation invites you to turn inward with curiosity, exploring the deeper layers of the Self. As the nervous system calms, the mind settles into stillness, making it easier to observe the quality of the chitta, the subtle mind or consciousness. Over time, this practice cultivates a steady, peaceful awareness that carries beyond your meditation.

Professionalism, passion and attention to detail – a perfect combination

January 15, 2024

I attended several classes by Judith, in a larger and in a small group, and I will certainly come again when in Goa. I extremely enjoyed Judith’s yoga classes. The classes are well-structured, the flow of poses is highly natural yet challenging enough for my level. During the practice I received plenty of personal attention and my physical capacities were taken into account. It was so fulfilling to complete the practice and feel that I learned a lot, as a yoga journey never ends. Judith’s warm personality and high professionalism made a lasting impression. Many thanks to Judith for this wonderful experience!

A beautiful teacher, a beautiful person

My husband and I had the privilege of attending several of Judith’s classes over 2 weeks at the Bamboo Yoga retreat in Goa. Her authenticity and depth of knowledge was revealed in her calm clear and precise teaching. We felt fully supported when encouraged to find a deeper breath or movement. She held the class attention and taught in such a way that honoured this ancient practice. Off the mat Judith is a beautiful and friendly person.

Inspiration

June 29, 2023

My wife and I had the privilege of meeting Judith and attending her classes she was taking at bamboo yoga retreat.

This requires having experts to beginners in the same class Judith does this with ease, being kind to people is in her D N A .

If you need assistance she is always there and knows if you need a push or more comfortable position .

Judith even recommended the best DJs to go and see !

I got inspired by Judith to improve my handstands and I wish she could run classes closer to my home.

Judith is fantastic at giving the joy of yoga

Thank you so much

My yoga journey
Always curious, frequently smiling, forever learning

I consciously chose to complete my yoga teacher training in India, the birthplace of yoga, to fully immerse myself in the yogic lifestyle and explore the depth of its ancient teachings.

My teachers, all Indian, embody the essence of yoga, and I return to study with them every year, as I am forever a student. I can only teach what I truly know, and by deepening my own knowledge and experience, I become a more well-rounded teacher—able to guide students beyond the asanas and into the full richness of yoga.

< 2018

Amsterdam

After 15 years of yoga under a variety of teachers, I reached a point where I wanted to deepen my practice and explore yoga beyond the physical poses, gaining a broader understanding of its philosophies and techniques.

< 2018

2018-2019

London

My Indian teacher, Dipu, introduced me to a different style of yoga than I was used to: Sivananda Hatha Yoga. For the first time, I truly felt the calming effects on my mind and experienced genuine inner peace. This inspired me to deepen my practice further and explore learning opportunities in India.

2018-2019

2019

Sivananda Ashram, Neyyardam, Kerala

Following Dipu’s recommendation, I visited Sivananda Ashram in Kerala for a yoga retreat, fully immersing myself in the yogic lifestyle; practising asanas, pranayama, meditation, mindful relaxation, and living simply with a balanced diet and positive mindset. I discovered how discipline and simplicity can bring profound insights, and, most importantly, I realised that everything I need is already within me.

What is the feeling you get after a practice?

Your mind feels calm and clear, while your body is energised and strong. You may notice increased alertness, a deeper sense of calm, and a more relaxed, grounded state throughout the day.

Yoga encourages deeper breathing and helps shift the nervous system into a parasympathetic, “rest and digest” mode, calming both mind and body.

Many of yoga’s effects are linked to the vagus nerve, which connects the brain and body, supporting overall wellbeing, joy, and happiness.

nd while strengthening the vagus nerve is a superpower of yoga, it’s just one of many ways yoga helps you feel alive, balanced, and centered.

A regular yoga practice can also change your brain activity, spiking neurotransmitters responsible for communication between your brain and nervous system.
